Submission Commitment and Author Declaration

1.  This manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere, nor has any part of it been published in any form in other journals or media. There are no confidentiality concerns. I/we affirm that the content of this manuscript is the result of original research (excluding review articles), and does not contain any fabricated, fraudulent, or plagiarized material.

2.  The corresponding author has read the entire manuscript, has made a significant contribution to the work, and will take full responsibility for matters related to its publication. All co-authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree with the order of authorship and institutional affiliations. The affiliated institutions have also granted approval for the manuscript’s content.

Copyright Transfer Agreement (This agreement shall automatically void if the submitted manuscript is ultimately not accepted for publication.)

The author(s) (copyright holder(s)) of the above paper agree to publish the said paper in the Chinese Journal of Zoology and voluntarily transfer all copyright property rights of the paper worldwide to the Editorial Office of the Chinese Journal of Zoology (hereinafter referred to as the “Editorial Office”). The relevant points are hereby clarified as follows:

1.       The author(s) warrant that the paper is an original work and is free from academic misconduct such as confidentiality and dual submission. For any issues arising from infringement or confidentiality breaches, all responsibilities will be borne by the author(s) of the paper.

2.       The author(s) agree to transfer to the editorial office all rights related to the reproduction and dissemination of the paper and its related appendices, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, broadcasting, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, and other copyright property rights.

3.       The author(s) guarantee that there are no disputes regarding the authorship of the paper. For any disputes arising from authorship, the responsibility lies with the author(s) of the paper.

4.       After the publication of the paper, the editorial office shall pay the author(s) a one-time remuneration (including copyright transfer fees) and provide the current magazine.

5.       Any disputes arising from the performance of this agreement shall be resolved through consultation. If consultation fails, either party may initiate legal proceedings in the people's court with jurisdiction over the location of the editorial office.

This journal is included in databases and websites such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data–Digital Journal Platform, Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, Chinese Science and Technology Papers and Citation Database, CSCD (Chinese Science Citation Database), PubScholar, Chemical Abstracts (CA), EBSCO, etc. (including but not limited to the above databases or websites, as well as those currently or future in cooperation). Once accepted for publication, the manuscript will be included in these databases and websites simultaneously. Authors who disagree with this term should declare their objection to the journal at the time of submission; otherwise, consent to inclusion will be deemed given.
