Chinese Journal of Zoology (founded in 1957) is a scientific journal sponsored by the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the China Zoological Society. It is recognized as a core journal in natural sciences in China. For over 60 years, Chinese Journal of Zoology has adhered to its mission of integrating popularization and academic rigor, giving equal emphasis to basic and applied research.
