    Abstract:

    As a new record of bird in China, the White-capped Bunting (Emberiza stewarti), was found by the local birdwatchers and photographers on May 12nd 2013. One male bird was seen with the Eurasian Linnets (Carduelis cannabina) at the countryside of Biaoertuokeyi town, Wuqia county, nearby Kashi, in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China (39°20'N and 75°05'E), with the elevation of 2 100 m in the northeastern Pamirs.
