    Abstract:

    Two adult snakes of the colubrids were collected in Leigongshan National Nature Reserve, Guizhou Province, in July 2011. The two specimens are identified as Amphiesma bitaeniata that is a new record of snake in Guizhou Province, China. The finding of this species in Guizhou will benefit us to further study on morphological variation and geographical distribution of A.bitaeniata.
