Two living specimens of Bufo ledongensis were discovered in Guangdong Tianjingshan Forest in July 2009,which are first recorded of this species in Guangdong Province.Previously,B.ledongensis was only found in Jianfengling Mountain,Diaoluoshan Mountain,and Bawangling Mountain,Hainan Province,China.This new record provides further information on the morphology and distribution range of this little-known species.
