One specimen of Pygeretmus pumilio was collected in Mazongshan Town,Subei Mongolians Autonomous County,Gansu Province in May 8^th,2010,which is first record in the area.And those were described in this paper that morphological characteristic and environment of the specimen.The discovery of little earth hare has important significance for studying phylogenetic development and evolvement of rodent in the area.
