The predatory effect of the tadpoles of Microhyla pulchra on algae was studied.The result shows that the predatory capability of tadpoles on Cyanophyta increased significantly,but the average predatory capability of each tadpole decreased significantly as the tadpole density increased.The paper also discussed the significance of controlling Cyanophyta by tadpole.
