    Abstract:

    The morphological structure of spleen was observed in Prionailurus bengalensis bengalensis.After staining with H.E method,the spleen sections were observed under a light microscope.The P.b.bengalensis had an auxiliary spleen.The morphological structure of two spleens was alike.The position,color,hardness and elasticity of the auxiliary spleen were normal.The spleen was oval,the spleen capsule was thick,the trabeculae was developed,and the lymphatic sheath around the artery was well developed.The splenic nodule was developed,forming germinal centers.The splenic sinusoid was underdeveloped and contained large quantity of reticular cells and macrophages.
