    Abstract:

Eight bats identified as Rhinolophus pearsoni were collected at Jiangsu Province in May,2008.As a new record in Jiangsu,it means that R.pearsoni distribute all south provinces in mainland China.Body size and mass of specimens in Jiangsu Province are slightly smaller than those in other regions while dominant frequency of echolocation calls is opposite, which does not reject the hypothesis that there are inverse correlation between dominant frequency and body size in horseshoe bats.
