This paper reviewed the progress of studies on growth of sexual dimorphism in vertebrate.The reasons of growth sexual dimorphism in vertebrate including feeding and digesting,energy allocation between growth and reproduction,species heredity,genotype and phenotype,steroid level,genes expressions of growth axis are analyzed.
