Nine specimens of Myotis frater were collected from Tonghua City in Jilin Province.This species is a new record of Vespertilionidae in Jilin Province,and was identified as subspecies M.f.longicaudatus.The bats were described in details and compared with specimens of other regions.Measurements,status,comments on taxonomy and distribution were provided.
