    Abstract:

    Reported here is the nutrient ingredient analysis on four species of land snails (Achatina fulica, Camaena jinpingensis, Cryptozona menglunensis, Cyclophorus menglunensis) in Yunnan Province. Compared to pork, beef and chicken, all of the four species has higher content of protein but lower content of fat and sugar. In addition, they are also full of vitamins and such inorganic elements as calcium, phosphorus and ferrum, and can be further exploited and utilized as fine health food product.
