    Abstract:

    Eight bird species were recorded during a bird survey in Motuo County, Southeast Tibet of China from February to March in 2019, e.g Crested Kingfisher (Megaceryle lugubris), Lesser Yellownape Woodpecker (Picus chlorolophus), White-bellied Erpornis (Erpornis zantholeuca), Black-headed Shrike Babbler (Pteruthius rufiventer), Lesser Racket-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus remifer), Sultan Tit (Melanochlora sultanea), Beautiful Nuthatch (Sitta formosa) and Elachura (Elachura Formosa). The Beautiful Nuthatch is a vulnerable bird formerly recorded only in south Yunnan Province.
